Invoking the Goddess of Tibet

26/27 September 2009, Glastonbury, Somerset

Geshe Chongtul Rinpoche will share an ancient healing practice to connect with Sherab Chamma, the highest goddess in the Tibetan Bon Tradition. Through the Love and Compassion Mantra, this powerful meditation brings personal and global healing of fears, suffering, sickness, and obstacles. This weekend workshop will enable practitioners to invoke the unbounded wisdom of the Loving Mother to initiate inner transformation and joy.

Geshe Chongtul Geshe Chongtul Rinpoche Rinpoche, a renowned high lama in the Tibetan Bon tradition, travels internationally to share the native culture of Tibet and its teachings of meditation, healing, and compassion for the world. These teachings come from a lineage of Rinpoches unbroken for over 9,000 years. To say this is a rare occasion for a western audience would be an understatement indeed.

Rinpoche studied at the Bon Dialectic School of Menri Monastery in India and was awarded the Geshe Degree, the highest level of education in Tibetan philosophy. He was put under the care of his root lama, His Holiness the 33rd Menri Trizin Lungtok Tenpai Nyima from the age of seven, and has received the most complete transmissions on Sutra, Tantra, and Dzogchen in the Bon Tradition.

He is currently the spiritual director of Bon Shen Ling. For more information on Rinpoche's current projects and organizations, please visit www.bonshenling.org

Visit to Stonehenge

Special access to the inner circle at Stonehenge has been granted for us to chant and meditate together as the sun rises on the morning after the teaching in Glastonbury. Rinpoche will be with us at Stonehenge and will lead a sacred initiation to awaken the spirits of the ancients through chanting the compassion mantra and the mandala offering (accumulating merit). Space is limited and early registration is encouraged. We will adjourn for breakfast somewhere nice afterwards. Please check back for news on this. Further information about Stonehenge can be found at www.stonehenge.co.uk
